They did not have a regular gas car like we had reserved, our only option was an EV. We were travelling to rural VA so finding a charger added significant stress to our vacation. The staff were polite, but not helpful and did not seem to care about our frustrations. Their suggestion was to try other rental companies (who were already fully booked).Opinión del 31 jul. 2023

Hertz ran out of cars, and the customer service was very slow. They did give me an electric vehicle, all they had left, and something that I didn't order/didn't know how to drive. I would be hesitant to book at this Hertz again because apparently they didn't have enough cars for all reservations.Opinión del 31 jul. 2023

According to my reservation, I rented an intermediate SUV. I had it in writing. The Hertz person just repeated over and over that I reserved a compact SUV. Upgrading to an intermediate almost doubled the price. It was a bait and switch. I had to have the intermediate size based on what I was transporting. Hertz did not honor the rental reservation and then when I called the main customer service line they lied to me and told me another location would honor it so I relied on that information and wasted time only for them to fail to honor it again.Opinión del 18 may. 2023

The car was dirty inside. Dirt and crumbs on floor mats, trunk, all over middle center council and on steering wheel. It didn’t look like it was cleaned at all. Finger prints on steering wheel and screen. Car had a slight smell of cigarettes. The guy at pick up spot was nice and curteous, asked me if I wanted him to vacuum the floor.. but I didn’t have time for that. Plus it wasn’t just the floor to be cleaned. The car wasn't ready for me although I had a reservation. (There were 5+ other parties waiting for their cars too!) Also, I bought an EZPass because they said it would work on the license plate, but it didn't! I still had to pay tolls! So frustrating! I won't use Hertz again!Opinión del 7 may. 2023
